I use Nikon and Bronica cameras and Metz and Elinchrom flash gear.
I try to match the choice of film to the shot I have in mind. All monochrome work is processed and printed by myself. Prints are selenium toned for permanence. The reason for this is two-fold. Either at a lower dilution, because this protects the print for archival permanence, or at a higher dilution, because on many prints I like the tonal shift and apparent texture that occurs.
The prints you receive will be printed on 16"x12" fibre based paper, usually Agfa. They will be double fixed, selenium treated, un-mounted and securely packaged for mailing.
In monochrome work, I often like to print the rebate. Some say this proves that you can frame a shot correctly if you show all the negative, but I just think a black border looks 'cool'.
Colour prints will be commercially reproduced from my original 35mm or medium format transparencies. This process is not done in-house and does yield a print which has slightly higher contrast than the original transparency, though the new technologies are getting dam near perfect; better than the old contrasty Cibachromes or R3's.
